Machine Learning Developer (Intern)

The person in this role will work with project teams developing advanced data platforms in cloud environments for global brands. They will work in international teams and specialize in ML/AI cloud solutions and the latest technologies in that area, as well as promote the principles of the DataOps manifesto.

Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of a buddy (experienced colleague) — participation in project meetings, EDA, problems definition, proposing solutions, implementation of analytical solutions, incl. training and evaluation of ML models

Requirements:

Skilled in problem analysis, exploratory data analysis, and solution creation
Fluency in Python programming
Experience with various statistical, optimization, and Machine Learning models (regression, classification, genetic algorithms, NLP, CV)
Very good knowledge of selected optimization and ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, Theano, PyTorch, XGBoost, CatBoost, AutoML, DEAP, OR-Tools, Hyperopt, Optuna)
Knowledge of selected ML solution lifecycle management platforms (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, MLflow)
Writing clear and structured code, adhering to good programming practices
Proficiency in using git repositories and tools such as ClickUp, JIRA, Confluence, Teams, etc.
Good command in Polish and English (C1+ preferred)

Nice to have:

Commercial project experience in the Machine Learning / Data Science area
Proficiency in using LLMs for solving various problems, incl. familiarity with different open-source and commercial models, advanced prompting techniques, fine-tuning tools, libraries like LlamaIndex/LangChain, agent frameworks, inference APIs
