We’re looking for a Head Accountant to join our team in Wrocław. If you have a proven track record in full accounting, tax filing, and have a good understanding of financial and accounting processes, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements


We are looking for an accountant that could take full responsibility for accounting and tax-related matters at the company. What do we expect?

  • 5+ years of experience in the accounting department with at least 3+ years on an independent position
  • Very good knowledge of PAS principles and Polish tax law regulations, and ability to use them in practice
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office tools, in particular, MS Excel
  • Very good knowledge of accounting systems (one of the first tasks will be to implement a new system of your choice)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English and Polish

Additionally, it would be great if you had experience or willingness to get familiar with:

  • US GAAP and financial statements consolidation
  • Transfer pricing and international taxation
  • Payroll calculation

Responsibilities


As a Head Accountant, you will be working together with CFO on all accounting, tax, and financial matters at the Company. Your daily tasks will include the following:

  • Supervision of all accounting areas
  • Calculation and preparation of the tax declarations (CIT/VAT)
  • Calculation and preparation of the withholding tax declarations (CIT/IFT)
  • Optimization and automation initiatives of all accounting related processes
  • Cooperation with external institutions: Central Statistical Office, National Bank of Poland, auditors
  • Preparation of financial statements and consolidation packages
  • Supporting external accountants with payroll topics
