Our team is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our Infrastructure team in developing a new Google Cloud Platform infrastructure

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Professional experience with GCP / AWS / Azure (GCP preferred)
  • Experience in creating and managing Docker-based containers
  • Experience in configuring Kubernetes-based solutions and clusters
  • Experience in the configuration of centralized logs, metrics, and monitoring (e.g. GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK Stack)
  • Knowledge of databases/cache (PostgreSQL, Mongo, Redis)
  • Experience with tools to define Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines)
  • Knowledge of security issues
  • Fluent English – written and spoken

It would be even better if you have:

  • Security and data privacy certification (ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Experience in infrastructure optimizing in terms of costs (ideally in GCP)
  • Knowledge of Big Data technology, especially in the context of cloud solutions (BigQuery)
  • Knowledge of GitOps (configuration of Kubernetes using e.g. Flux, Helm)
  • Secrets management (HashiCorp Vault)
  • Experience in management developers' systems workstations based on macOS, Windows

Responsibilities


  • Configuration of Google Cloud Platform services
  • Development and monitoring of infrastructure (test and production environments)
  • Identifying and solving problems performance- and security-related
  • Proposing and implementing repetitive tasks automation
  • Collaborating with other team members on task development and implementation
  • Providing support for development teams in deployment-related topics
  • Collaborating with and supporting data science, marketing, and customer success teams in data acquisition and tool integration

  1. A short call with selected candidates. It would take about 40 minutes.
  2. Next, two interviews are planned. Technical interview with Development and Infrastructure team members and interview with CTO to better understand your experience, expectations, and motivation. This would be done remotely and could take about 2 hours in total.
  3. Job offer proposal, if successful.
