QA Automation Engineer

Salary range:

  • 10 000 - 15 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B)
  • 9 000 - 12 500 PLN gross (employment agreement)

Your role

You will be responsible for the planning, designing, developing, and executing automated tests tailored to our products as well as remaining internal tools connected with managing medical knowledge. The scope covers smoke, regression, and feature test suites.

As QA Automation Engineer at Infermedica, you will collaborate with QA, Product, and Development teams on automated solutions planning so that each release will be executed and validated accurately.


We are looking for someone who:

  • has 2+ years of experience in software testing
  • has 2+ years of experience in developing automated tests
  • has experience with Python and automation frameworks (e.g. PyTest, Cucumber, Behave)
  • has experience with Selenium or Appium
  • has experience with REST API
  • is familiar with BDD and/or TDD concepts
  • has commercial experience with design patterns
  • has knowledge about test cases best practices in the creation, maintenance, and execution
  • has experience with the version-control system (e.g. Git)
  • is willing to learn new frameworks on the go
  • has good communication skills in English and Polish
  • likes to work in a team and has a collaborative approach to people
  • has a ‘self-start’ and ‘problem solver’ attitude
  • embodies and shares our core values - support, quality, and transparency

It would be even better if have experience with:

  • setting up and using Jenkins for CI/CD
  • TestRail, Jira, JMeter/Gatling


  • Developing automated scripts either of the following: from scratch or basing on manual test cases
  • Maintaining testing framework (Python, PyTest, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, REST Assured)
  • Performing manual tests when needed
  • Keeping yourself up to date with project-related processes and procedures
  • Verifying, debugging, and reporting defects
  • Proactive supervising and quality assurance process improvement using ISTQB (foundation level) knowledge
  • Keeping your work compliant with coding standards and conventions
