Senior Software Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Senior Software Project Manager to join our R&D team in Szczecin. This role will primarily focus on managing software releases and ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets.

Requirements


  • Certified in Project Management (Prince2, PMP, IPMA, or equivalent).
  • Engineering Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and product lifecycle.
  • Experience leading projects involving software releases.
  • Fluency in English and Polish (additional languages are a plus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive approach.
  • Understanding of SCRUM methodology and experience driving daily meetings.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and management principles.
  • Ability to maintain and develop procedures for efficient project execution.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of mechanical design and aesthetics.
  • Experience with FTTH, GPON, XGS-PON, Wi-Fi, and 802.3 Ethernet networks.
  • Technical knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with hardware product development and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage software release projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and successful software releases.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including Master Plans, Risk Management, and Weekly Reports.
  • Monitor project progress against KPIs like time, cost, scope, schedule, and quality criteria.
  • Establish effective communication plans with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and manage expectations with executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate customer product introduction projects in collaboration with the Support and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate efforts with other teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct risk assessment and management to identify, analyse, and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and develop procedures to ensure efficient project execution and continuous improvement.
