Currently, we are hiring for a project in the fields of cognitive radio and spectrum sensing. We invite people skilled in digital signal processing, telecommunications and software defined radio to collaborate with us. Future mobile networks will be software defined to allow functionality to be decoupled from hardware. We are the first and the only Polish vendor of such software-defined 5G RAN. IS-Wireless develops software-defined 4G and 5G mobile networks supporting more users with better performance at lower cost by applying cutting edge proprietary technologies.

IS-Wireless participates in the Open RAN revolution and expects significant changes in the way networks are built and deployed in the coming years. The company is strongly rooted in R&D on 4G and 5G since its foundation in 2006, mainly through EU-funded collaborative research projects.

Requirements


  • Min 2 years of experience in DSP,
  • Experience in working with radio signals and Software Defined Radio (SDR),
  • Python, Matlab programming skills will be your advantage,
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • University degree (or final year student) in one of the following domains: wireless, telecommunications, computer science, electronics,
  • Good English skills (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the GNU Radio Companion software,
  • Familiarity with algorithms for modulation recognition,
  • Experience in creating neural networks will be your advantage.

Responsibilities


  • Digital communication,
  • Signal detection in a wideband multi-user scenario,
  • Carrier recovery, symbol rate estimation, channel estimation,
  • Digital modulation and demodulation,
  • Spectrum sensing.
