Generalist Artist (AI Researcher & Developer)
Platige Image is looking for a creative, tech-savvy Generalist Artist to join our AI Research team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the future of animation and cinematics who’s eager to explore how AI can elevate storytelling, streamline workflows and unlock new visual possibilities.
Requirements
Strong communication skills.
Artistic background in animation, VFX or game cinematics.
Experience in seamlessly combining visual elements using compositing software.
Hands-on experience with AI models available in both open-source frameworks and paid/commercial platforms.
Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition and performance.
Curiosity and drive to experiment with new tech (no deep coding needed).
ADDITIONALLY SCORED
Experience with 3D softwares, like Unreal Engine, Maya, Houdini, Blender or similar.
Basic scripting or tool integration knowledge.
Interest in generative AI or procedural workflows.
Candidates for this role should include a demo reel or portfolio in their application showcasing their AI Experiments.
Responsibilities
Research and test emerging AI tools for animation, cinematics and commercials, with a strong focus on artistic quality.
Prototype visual concepts using generative models.
Collaborate with artists to develop AI-enhanced creative workflows.
Collaborate with Dev teams to help integrate AI tools into our pipeline.
Document all the findings and share the knowledge with the artists through presentations and training sessions.
