Platige Image is looking for an Unreal Engine Tools Programmer to join our Development Team. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining tools that support artists and developers across real-time projects, with a focus on backend integration and automation. If you are passionate about working in Unreal Engine, do not hesitate and apply!

Requirements


- Strong programming skills in C++.
- In-depth understanding of Unreal Engine’s architecture, editor tools and APIs.
- Experience with Perforce (version control).
- Proven ability to develop scalable, maintainable backend or pipeline tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, database systems, or server-side logic.
- Solid understanding of real-time asset pipelines and team workflows.
- Great communication in English (spoken and written).

ADDITIONALLY SCORED
- Experience with Rez (environment/package management)
- Experience with Python.
- Experience integrating creative tools with DCCs like Maya, Blender, or Houdini.
- Interest in procedural content generation, simulation tools, or virtual production.

Responsibilities


- Design, build and maintain tools as well as APIs to support Unreal Engine workflows.
- Develop backend systems to automate and scale content creation pipelines.
- Collaborate with artists, technical directors and developers to identify tool needs.
- Automate and integrate asset and data workflows with Perforce and Rez.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer efficiency.
