We are in search of candidates located in or willing to relocate to Gran Canaria as well as cooperate on a B2B contract.
Daily Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of FX Lead, you'll be responsible for the creation of the digital visual effects and diverse simulations with different techniques in Houdini for game cinematics and films.
Use your artistic and technical skills to design realistic simulations of visual effects.
Execute your tasks within production schedules and according to our pipeline.
Work closely with a team to help refine the FX pipeline and processes.
Cooperate with Lighting Artists and Compo Artists to ensure all effects work smoothly within the pipeline.
Required Skills & Experience:
Min. 1 year of professional experience in a similar role.
Excellent expertise in Houdini software.
Ability to work iteratively in a fluid and fast-paced environment, receive feedback easily, and willingness to participate as a member of a highly collaborative team.
Passion for CGI and all kinds of FX simulations.
Lots of self-motivation, good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Good knowledge of English is required.
Additionally Scored:
Deep understanding of all aspects of 3D and VFX pipeline steps.
Experience in Python scripting.
Daily Responsibilities:
Work closely with the FX Lead, Supervisors, and Art Directors to create the most astonishing results.
Use your artistic and technical skills to design realistic simulations of visual effects.
Execute your tasks within the production schedule and according to our pipeline.
Work on your tasks with self-empowerment but be willing to collaborate with other Artists.
Required Skills & Experience:
Min. 5 years of professional experience in the FX industry.
Excellent expertise in Houdini software.
Ability to work iteratively in a fluid and fast-paced environment, receive feedback easily, and willingness to participate as a member of a highly collaborative team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Good knowledge of English is required.
Additionally Scored:
Good knowledge of Maya, Arnold, Shotgun, or Nuke.
Deep understanding of all aspects of 3D and VFX pipeline steps.
Experience in Python scripting.
Daily Responsibilities:
Assign and review tasks for simulations such as Pyro, Fluids, Destruction, and all kinds of experimental effects.
Mentor and lead FX Artists in their development by providing artistic guidance and technical expertise.
Together with Supervisors, evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots and sequences.
Drive the technological development of the workflow of your team and the entire pipeline.
Maintain good team dynamics and show initiative in solving everyday problems.
Required Skills & Experience:
Min. 5 years of professional experience in the FX industry and at least 2 years of experience leading teams or projects.
Excellent expertise in all major simulation tools of the Houdini FX software.
Working knowledge of Maya and Nuke along with a deep understanding of all aspects of 3D and VFX pipeline steps.
Experience leading or mentoring other artists.
Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other artists and teams.
Ability to easily communicate in English.
Additionally Scored:
Experience in Python scripting.
